TESTIMONIALS
I was at Kroger's this afternoon and I realized that for over one year doing grocery shopping had been an impossible task for me. I was in so much pain I was unable to do this. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and in the past eighteen months I have been to three different Doctors and have had x-rays, MRI and sonograms on the left knee. Everyone said "you have bad knees" and one said I need to have a complete knee replacement. My husband took me to the ER one night because I was crying and unable to walk because the pain was so crippling. They took x-rays and a sonogram and said I have blood clots in both legs. Three days after my discharge I was back at my Doctor's office because of severe pain in back of my left knee area. I was told blood clots can be painful and to take my medicine for the clots and be patient. At this point fate stepped in (I call this a God moment) because Dr. Mahadevan was visiting the medical office where I worked. He heard about me and asked to see me. Dr. M. came into the exam room and explained who he was and what his practice was about. After he listened to all I told him he said, "I think I can help you". I saw Dr. M. at his office the next day and the rest is history. I had four out-patient surgeries in late spring and I feel like I finally have a life. The disabling pain in the back of the knee is gone and I am able to go shopping and walk through stores. Knee replacement is out for me now because the knee pain is manageable. It is scary to think of all the tests, procedures and office visits I had without ever knowing what was wrong and that it was correctable. So Dr. M. I say to you, "thank you for giving me my life back".Ann E. Williams
